Back to control panel and darned if the program isn't still there AND still in my task tray. Even disabled, this program hijacks my camera. The camera comes on for no reason and stays on and I'm sorry, but Uncle Sam does not need a back door to watch me play games on Facebook. How do I get rid of this program, completely and permanently, once and for all?

I am impressed – MASSIVELY impressed by the response of Sensible Vision to my comments! Just as I promised to report back to anyone following this thread, these guys, though a small company can surely performed on the big stage – they proved that they are small enough to help individuals and big enough to service large corporations.

Uk garage lotus I mean c'mon MAN! Then to have to go through FOUR tries to get rid of this is unreal. Solution Uninstalled ALL DELL software. All the digital delivery, which BTW was not listed in any of the software that comes with the computer when purchased. The support stuff is but not this sneaky program. I will be shipping my computer back if that does not remove it.

He's right, removing DDD is probably not a great idea as I'm sure it does deliver useful and perhaps even critical updates to Dell products, but to be kept out of the loop with regards to the 'environment' in which one works is frustration generator number one. I have upgraded my OS to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 on Dell Inspirion 17R machine. I am not able to login to the machine as there is a constant refresh/flickering of screen probably due to a facial recognition software - Fast Access - which is trying to get focus from Windows logon screen and forth. I am not able to login to the machine not even once after upgrade to Windows 10 and I don't have any rescue disc. I have googled for this problem, it seems similar issue has been observed in Windows 8.1 os and this has been resolved by using workaround of moving/renaming the dll files of Fast Access. Unfortunately, I am not able to do this as I cannot boot in Safe mode nor have access to the file system to rename/delete these dll files of Fast Access. Can you please suggest if there any other alternate ways to boot in Safe mode (i don't have Windows 10 rescue disk) and change/delete these files in Windows 10. I will say that in my experience (working with thousands of users in my capacity as head of tech support) that your observations are certainly not typical. The learning algorithm allows FastAccess to recognize users quickly and in many different conditions (lighting and otherwise). I do this as I run Windows on a MacBook and to be honest the only driver I need is for the trackpad. All the rest I get from MS or Intel. I don't want drivers installed for some odd USB keyboard I'm never going to buy or graphics card that don't exist in my system. To re-iterate though, don't do it (unless you want to).

FastAccess has no control over the reinstall process. Dell and SensibleVision(creators of FastAccess) are currently isolating the root cause of this behavior. Hi KBA5870- As I mentioned previously in this thread, The automatic re-installing behavior is due to the Dell delivery program caching the FastAccess installer file. The reinstall behavior is NOT intentional.

I have dell 7447 and upgraded from 8.1 to windows 10 with keeping all my file. Im using second screen as TV and disable fastaccess, (that why i prefered pin than face access.) but now fast access face recognition blocking me. Now i can't log in,can't do anything, screen stuck at windows logo please help.:-( should i perform clean install from my back up USB? And upgrade win 10 from the begining again? Could you please provide us a screenshot to avoid misunderstanding if you willing to? Can you run the program? If the program runs in the startup, we could use the tool System Configuration (msconfig) to disable apps or services that normally run at startup.

It might also be worth mentioning that even if you prefer to type your password into Windows for some reason, that FastAccess does a lot more than just that. In particular, many people get great benefit and convenience from the Web Login feature.

Hello DePaix, What is your current situation? Have you tried the solution as MVP Cyber_Defend_Team mentioned? Do this program preinstalled? If yes, we need to contact the manufacturer to receive better support. If my understanding is right, you uninstalled it once, but the program was back and only the option to ‘change’.

If your computer is stuck in a 'flicker loop', here's what I did. I forced the computer to power down by holding the power button until the unit powered off. Then I turned it back on and 'started windows normally'. It then allowed me to get past the FastAccess screen and go to the normal desktop. I then completely removed FastAccess. No problems since then. But there has been no response from Windows, Dell, or the FastAccess programmers about this issue.

I've clean installed W10 on my Dell laptop and then installed my programs including the Dell utilities Dell Support Assist, Dell Quickset & Dell Digital Delivery. I eventually decided these no longer offer me anything useful and have uninstalled them.

And manual finding and removing all of these leftovers is a daunting task for many common computer users, for that they have to check a great number of folders and registry database to remove the associated files completely, and any small mistake could cause further and more serious problems on the system! Especially the important and sensitive system registry database. So be cautious!

I've recently purchased an Inspirion 17' /Win8 which came with FastAccess Facial recognition software installed. FastAccess kept turning ON the camera (and led) and didn't allow me to monitor when it was turning on or to fine tune when it was allowed to start using the camera (and system resources). So after a few emails with support from SensibleVision, and finding the latest version was faster and better featured - they wanted an upsell - I uninstalled it via Control Panel. It wasn't that fast - easier to type in a password, than have to smile at the camera and wait. However there still appeared to be some slivers of it around that I never tracked down. Now this morning, all of a sudden FastAccess pops up and wants to be trained again on my face. Seems like Dell Digital Delivery has downloaded it again.

After disabling the facial recognition app (Fast Access), the Windows 10 OS would not start correctly and would just show a blank green screen (with only three functional buttons on the lower corner - 'connect to Internet, ease of use, and shut down') on my 2014 Dell Inspiron 17 (5000 series). There was no log on screen of any sort, and the Windows Startup button was also unresponsive; therefore, I was not able to use the laptop at all! This despite restarting and shutting down completely several times. I finally called Dell tech support and a complete diagnostics was run, resulting in no known problems on the laptop. To bypass the blank screen, I was asked to restart in safe mode which is very limited in its operation, and this is what I am using right now. Dell tech support mirrored my laptop so he could check other issues and he found out laptop is running on the Windows 10 OS.
